Job Responsibility:
Running the Extrusion line
Ensure proper materials are used
Make adjustments as necessary to produce a quality product
Perform all necessary Q.A. and documentation for Extrusion dept. and release of product
Perform line clearance as needed and perform die changes
Perform quality checks and documentation for Extrusion department and release of product
Make up boxes with liners, pack tubing in boxes, put fill boxes on skids, identify & strap skids
Use of GME to enter shop floor & order raw materials, as necessary
Set-up and make adjustments on machine as necessary to produce a quality product
Support the facility LEAN enterprise journey through the use of tools including but not limited to 6S
Learn, understand and apply thorough quality standards, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP)
Notify the supervisor and take appropriate action if any safety, quality, mechanical or discrepancy issues occur
Sustain a clean and safe work area using 6S principles
Requirements:
Successful completion of High School diploma or GED required (Proof will be requested)
Experience doing repetitive tasks
Manufacturing/Quality experience in a GMP environment
Experience in food or manufacturing industry
Demonstrated good attendance in present position
Demonstrated good performance & good quality in present position
Demonstrated good attitude utilizing Baxters Shared Committments
Flexibility to work overtime as required
Experience in Trouble shooting mechanical problems
Demonstrated problem solving skills
Experience in working effectively both independently, and as part of a team
Demonstrated support & participation in the 6S initiative
Proven ability to be proactive and self-motivated on the job
Demonstrated ability to document data correctly per CA GPP 80
Must have the ability to comprehend Baxter Specifications / SOP’s and determine apropriate corrective actions
