This job involves recruiting, training, and leading a team at a retail site. Responsibilities include site management, customer service, merchandise organization, financial analysis, and maintaining professional relationships with suppliers and the community. The candidate must ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies while maximizing sales and optimizing operations. The role is primarily onsite with occasional outdoor tasks.
Job Responsibility:
Recruit, hire, and train positive, enthusiastic employees
develop, manage, and assign tasks to ensure the site is clean, stocked, and organized
schedule employees to maximize customer service and maintain site image
implement non-discriminatory management skills for hiring, training, counseling, motivating, and separating employees
promote excellent service and resolve customer complaints professionally
develop professional relationships with suppliers
ensure safety and maintain a positive public image
prepare ongoing performance appraisals and provide feedback
train employees for customer service, site image, marketing execution, and safety awareness
analyze daily sales and expenses
forecast budgets and manage merchandise margins
ensure timely and accurate financial reporting
perform indoor and occasional outdoor tasks, including cleaning parking lots and gas pumps
Requirements:
High School diploma or GED preferred
experience in retail sales preferred
experience to perform the essential duties, responsibilities and working in the conditions described
ability to supervise and train for the use of equipment, tools and materials listed in the Customer Service Representative (CSR) and Assistant Site Manager (ASM) job descriptions
ability to supervise and manage the functions listed in the CSR and ASM job descriptions
ability to use a computer or acquire necessary computer skills for site operations
a valid driver’s license and adequate transportation to/from bank and corporate management meetings
ability to communicate (orally and in writing) in English
