Job Description:

The Supervisor is responsible for assisting managers in the four Express Service throughout the property and maintaining the highest level of standards, service quality and operational excellence. Outlets include Bistro 375 (Starbucks), Vista (Seattle's Best Coffee), The Grove, and Café Ember. The outlets serve a variety of coffee, smoothies, made to order sandwiches and bowls, and grab and go items.

Job Responsibility:

  • Ensure physical atmosphere and cleanliness of restaurant including tables, grab and go case, coffee cart, and storage areas
  • Ensuring rotation of product and storage areas while assisting in inventory control
  • Monitor food quality and service level
  • Assist F&B Attendants during peak times
  • Provide a pleasant and efficient atmosphere for staff and guests and service standards are met
  • Oversee and maintain the onboarding experience for new hires, transfers and cross-trained employees
  • Responsible for daily paperwork including food requisitions, inventory, ordering, etc
  • Assist staff with any problems that may occur

Requirements:

  • Experience in the hospitality industry required
  • Food & Beverage experience desirable
  • Experience in coffee houses, smoothie shops, or other quick service restaurants preferred
  • Experience as a departmental trainer or supervisor preferred
  • Strong computer skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Outlook
  • Microsoft Teams and OneNote experience desirable
  • Strong knowledge with a Point-of-Sale system required
  • Infor experience desirable
  • Food Safety Certification and Texas Alcohol Beverage Certification required within 30 days of starting and must be re-certified as needed
