The Export Sales Manager will be a key driver in our client's growth strategy. Your primary mission is to identify, negotiate, and secure new international business opportunities within the ASEAN region. This is a pioneer role within the organization. As our first dedicated Export Sales Manager, you will have the unique opportunity to build the client's international department from the ground up. You will serve as the primary architect of our global footprint, reporting directly to the Managing Director (MD) to align sales targets with the company’s long-term vision.
Job Responsibility:
Market Expansion & BD: Identify and penetrate new international markets (Southeast Asia, Middle East, Europe, and North America) to drive revenue growth
Direct Strategy Collaboration: Work closely with the MD to define export pricing, market-entry strategies, and long-term international scaling plans
Partnership Management: Source, vet, and manage overseas distributors, importers, and retail partners to ensure consistent brand representation
Compliance & Logistics: Coordinate with the production and logistics teams to ensure products meet international food safety regulations, labeling requirements, and customs documentation
Exhibition & Networking: Represent the company at international trade fairs and food expos to build a global pipeline of leads from scratch
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or it's equivalent
Minimum 2-3 years of experience in Export Sales or International Business Development, prefreably within the FMCG or Food & Beverage industry
A "hunter" mentality with the grit and autonomy required to establish a new department and navigate the complexities of global trade independently
