Job Description:

Lead and manage the export function overseeing sourcing, procurement, and export operations to support sales and customer requirements. Our Export Manager plays a pivotal role in expanding our export function, helping deliver high-quality solutions for our customers while supporting our 2027 growth strategy.

Job Responsibility:

  • Lead and manage the export function overseeing sourcing, procurement, and export operations to support sales and customer requirements
  • Lead and develop the Export Team
  • Engage with domestic and international suppliers
  • Manage export functions including sourcing product locally and overseas
  • Lead the Export division coordinators, ensuring timely responses and follow-ups
  • Coordinate supply of OEM and consignment stock sales orders
  • Collaborate closely with National Product Team, Inventory Planners, and Sales Teams
  • Develop and implement effective sourcing strategies ensuring timely product provision
  • Build strong partnerships with suppliers and service providers
  • Ensure safe work practices and compliance with policies and quality standards

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years leadership and management experience in a relevant role
  • Strong knowledge of industry products and customer requirements
  • Exceptional research skills and tenacity in supplier sourcing
  • Proven ability to foster cross-cultural supplier relationships
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Clean and current NZ Driver’s license
  • Proficient with MS Office, CRM database, and relevant ERP systems (Pronto/Green Tree)
