We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Export Manager to lead our international shipping and logistics operations. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the end-to-end export processes, ensuring seamless coordination across supply chain management and transportation. Your expertise will drive efficiency in personnel management, freight documentation, and compliance with global trade regulations. Job Responsibility:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive export strategies aligned with company goals and international trade standards.
  • Handle BCO freight and documentation nationwide.
  • Manage transportation planning and freight arrangements, including working with third-party logistics providers (3PL), NVOCC (Non-Vessel Operating Common Carrier), and fleet management.
  • Ensure compliance with international shipping regulations and documentation requirements while managing customs procedures and export documentation.
  • Lead continuous process improvement efforts in logistics workflows.

Requirements:

  • 10 years experience in international shipping / freight forwarding.
  • 5 years management experience.
  • Proven experience in supply chain management, logistics operations, or export management within a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong knowledge of CargoWise.
  • Demonstrated Knowledge and experience with freight forwarding, NVOCC operations, 3PL partnerships, and international shipping regulations, carrier negotiation and quoting.
  • Excellent data analysis skills with the ability to leverage supply chain analytics for strategic decision-making.
  • Effective communication skills coupled with a proactive approach to process improvement initiatives across the department and operating functions.
  • Previous export experience, knowledge of FMC compliance for freight forwarding and NVOCC, TSA and hazmat certification.
  • Strong knowledge of CargoWise and Microsoft Office.
