Job Description

This position will support the Export Finance (EF) Manager and the Head of International Trade & Transaction Banking (ITB) Korea in the origination and execution of both inbound and outbound transactions. This involves driving internal and external marketing efforts, structuring EF commercial activities for CACIB Korea, and fostering strategic relationships with key stakeholders, including Ksure, KEXIM, and corporate clients.

Job Responsibility

  • Support Export Finance Manager for origination and execution of both inbound and outbound EF(Export Finance) transactions
  • Support EF Manager to pitch for Korean EF clients and manage relationship and regular communications with Korean Export Credit Agencies (“K-ECAs”)
  • Communicate with internal EF network for origination and coordination of execution including attendance of regular and ad hoc calls
  • Support EF Manager to prepare internal reporting, credit applications, pitching materials
  • Monitor and manage Korean EF portfolio
  • Update the status on EF deals in pipeline regularly
  • Support communications with internal/external stakeholders relating to the EF transactions
  • Support cross selling with other Business Lines
  • Team work and seamless communication with ITB globally
  • Perform other assignments requested by the Bank for the EF Business Line and Senior Management

Requirements

  • Minimum 2-3 years (or more) of banking experience, specifically within client coverage or products (mainly front office)
  • Excellent English communication (both oral and written) skill is critical
  • Solid understanding of banking products
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with global stakeholders
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple transactions and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.)
  • Native Korean
  • Fluent in English
  • Bachelor Degree / BSc Degree or equivalent
  • Major in Finance, Business, Banking is preferred
  • 3-5 years minimal experience level
