Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Export Coordinator to join our team on a fully remote basis. In this role, you will own the full operational relationship with our customers, managing the process from purchase order intake through export fulfilment and post-delivery follow-up. You will be responsible for ensuring orders are processed accurately and shipped on time, coordinating with logistics partners, and resolving any documentation or data issues that arise.

Job Responsibility:

Act as the primary operational contact for customers, managing purchase order amendments and communicating shipment plans
Support trials and new product introductions, and coordinate dispute resolution and damaged goods claims
Receive and validate customer purchase orders, manage obsolete or substituted SKUs, and ensure master data extensions are completed
Create and maintain sales orders in SAP, apply pricing and Incoterm data, and process free-of-charge orders
Align with the Planning Team to confirm stock availability and handover to logistics partners (e.g., Maersk)
Plan pallets, containers, and packaging, including special handling for dangerous goods
Archive purchase orders and documentation appropriately
Raise and follow through on dispute cases and investigate damaged goods issues
Provide daily and weekly operational reports, attend regular calls with customers and logistics partners, and support operational projects and process improvements
Train new team members and customer-side operational teams as needed

Requirements:

Comfortable owning the customer operational relationship and communicating clearly across teams
Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and documentation
Able to handle complexity and manage multiple orders concurrently
Works independently once trained, and is deadline-driven and organised
Experience with SAP (core)
Experience with Excel (required)
Experience with Word / PowerPoint (preferred)

Nice to have:

Experience with OpenText - Validation Tool
Experience with Maersk booking systems
