Job Description:

As the main point of contact for your clients, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring their export needs are met seamlessly. You'll be the cornerstone of communication, collaboration, and coordination within the Export department.

Job Responsibility:

Client Relations: Develop and maintain strong, professional relationships with allocated clients and suppliers
Team Collaboration: Work closely with colleagues in a dynamic team environment
Rate Negotiation: Negotiate competitive rates for freight requirements with shipping lines and suppliers
Booking Management: Make accurate bookings based on customer instructions
Shipment Monitoring: Keep a close eye on shipments and keep clients informed of status updates
Customs Documentation: Ensure correct customs documentation is received
Invoice Preparation: Prepare and send invoices while checking and authorising purchase invoices
Sales Opportunities: Stay alert to potential sales opportunities
File Management: Maintain proper file management systems
General Office Duties: Carry out general office duties as required

Requirements:

Experienced in export services, customs documentation, and logistics processes
Familiar with various freight modes and rate negotiation
Proactive communicator with a knack for building relationships
Detail-oriented and organised, with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
A team player who enjoys collaborating with colleagues to achieve common goals
