Job Responsibility:

  • Classify physical goods, software, and technology in accordance with EU, US, export control regulations
  • Perform tariff classification under EU and non-EU schemes
  • Conduct de-minimis calculations for US content
  • Screen business partners against sanctioned-party lists
  • Manage export licenses, sanctions, and exporter declarations
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams and international stakeholders
  • Stay ahead of the game by keeping up with evolving export control laws and other foreign trade regulations

Requirements:

  • 1–3 years of experience in trade compliance or product engineering
  • Strong understanding and proven experience in export control and tariff classification
  • Ability to interpret technical documents and drawings
  • Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail
  • Advanced English proficiency (German is a plus!)
  • Experience with ERP systems (SAP, GTS) is a bonus
  • Great communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
