As an Export Control, Sanctions, Tariff Classification Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring BOSCH Group’s compliance with international trade regulations. Your expertise will help us navigate complex export control laws, classify goods and software, and manage sanctions regimes.

Job Responsibility:

  • Classify physical goods, software, and technology in accordance with EU, US, export control regulations
  • Perform tariff classification under EU and non-EU schemes
  • Conduct de-minimis calculations for US content
  • Screen business partners against sanctioned-party lists
  • Manage export licenses, sanctions, and exporter declarations
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams and international stakeholders
  • Stay ahead of the game by keeping up with evolving export control laws and other foreign trade regulations

Requirements:

  • 1–3 years of experience in trade compliance or product engineering
  • Strong understanding and proven experience in export control and tariff classification
  • Ability to interpret technical documents and drawings
  • Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail
  • Advanced English proficiency (German is a plus!)
  • Experience with ERP systems (SAP, GTS) is a bonus
  • Great communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
