Job Description

We are looking for an Export Compliance Manager to join our Export Control team in Copenhagen in a global role with diversity and the servicing of Satair stakeholders and our subsidiaries worldwide. In this role you will be working in a global commercial and logistics environment in the aviation industry. With reference to the Head of Export Control, the global export control team is responsible for handling our export control licences and supporting the business to ensure timely delivery to our customers. Being a 100% owned subsidiary of Airbus SAS, we are a part of a well functioning network of over 200 lawyers worldwide within the Airbus Group.

Job Responsibility

  • Continuously track evolution of export control national & international laws and regulations (including ITAR and EAR) and liaise with relevant government authorities
  • Define, update and enforce the end-to-end export control process, including the implementation of Airbus Directives and Methods
  • Continuously improve the performance of the export control function
  • Support and coordinate actions of the supply chain, including risk assessment and risk management
  • Support the preparation of export control documentation in order to get timely clearance for export
  • Legal contractual clause drafting and review with specific regards to Export Control and Sanctions clauses
  • Prepare and conduct awareness training to the business in order to develop awareness within Satair on a global level
  • Support and advice during internal and external audits
  • Participate in various cross-functional projects

Requirements

  • Awareness of any potential compliance risks and a commitment to act with integrity
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English to be able to read and understand law texts and documents
  • Knowledge of both Danish, UK, US and EU law is preferred
  • Analytical, detail-oriented and well structured
  • Team player who can work independently when needed
