Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Solution Management professional to coordinate the design, development, testing, and launch of Network Element Management (EMS) systems and complex OSS solutions across European markets, with a strong focus on Vodafone Germany. This role plays a key part in aligning vendor roadmaps, internal capabilities, and business needs, while supporting the full lifecycle of EMS solutions within the Core & Services domain.

Job Responsibility

  • Coordinate the design, implementation, testing, and launch of EMS systems in line with OSS strategy and business requirements
  • Translate business requests into clear technical requirements and assess feasibility against local market needs
  • Manage and steer internal and external suppliers, ensuring alignment with agreed roadmaps and delivery milestones
  • Track project activities, milestones, risks, and dependencies, maintaining accurate documentation and status updates
  • Prepare roadmaps, presentations, and materials for stakeholder alignment and budget approval forums
  • Support solution design across application software, IT hardware, operating systems, and data warehouse layers
  • Define test scenarios and coordinate validation activities with OSS Planning Tools teams and local stakeholders
  • Provide lifecycle support for systems and solutions in close collaboration with instrumentation and engineering teams

Requirements

  • Solid experience in telecommunications IT and network technologies
  • Knowledgeable in Inventory and Asset Management systems and OSS-related solutions
  • Experienced across the software development lifecycle, working with modern development frameworks
  • Familiar with Agile / SAFe ways of working and collaboration tools such as Jira and Confluence
  • Clear and confident communicator in English, able to engage technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Customer-focused, organised, and systematic in approach
  • Educated to degree level (Bachelor’s or Master’s) in Telecommunications, Computer Science, or a related field
