We are seeking an individual who will coordinate the design, development, testing and launch of Network Element Management (EMS) systems and complex solutions across European markets, with a strong focus on Vodafone Germany. This role plays a key part in translating business needs into technical solutions, aligning EMS implementations with vendor roadmaps and OSS domain strategy, and ensuring high-quality delivery throughout the full system lifecycle in collaboration with internal teams and external partners.
Job Responsibility:
Coordinate the end-to-end design, development, testing and deployment of EMS systems and related solutions
Translate business requirements into clear technical specifications and assess feasibility against local market needs
Manage and steer internal teams and external suppliers to ensure alignment with agreed roadmaps and delivery plans
Track project milestones, tasks, access requests and incidents, ensuring timely resolution and delivery
Prepare project status updates, roadmaps and presentations for stakeholder and budget approval forums
Support solution design across application software, IT hardware, operating systems and data warehouse layers
Define test scenarios and execute validation activities in collaboration with OSS Planning Tools teams and local stakeholders
Provide lifecycle support for systems and solutions in close cooperation with instrumentation and engineering colleagues
Requirements:
An engineering graduate in Telecommunications, Computer Science or a related field, or with equivalent practical experience
Experienced in the software development lifecycle within IT and network technology environments
Knowledgeable in telecommunications IT and network technologies, including inventory and asset management systems
Familiar with common IT development frameworks, domain-specific tools and architectures, including Jira and Confluence, working within an Agile SAFe mindset
A clear and confident communicator in English, able to engage effectively with diverse technical and business stakeholders
Customer-focused, organised and methodical in your approach to problem-solving and delivery
