Job Responsibility
Provide L3 support for network-related issues, including troubleshooting and resolving complex network problems
Monitor network performance and ensure high availability and reliability of network systems
Configure and maintain network devices such as routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers
Implement and manage network security measures to protect against unauthorized access, vulnerabilities, and threats
Collaborate with other IT teams to design and implement network solutions that meet business requirements
Perform network upgrades and patches to ensure the latest security and performance enhancements are in place
Document network configurations, processes, and procedures for future reference and compliance purposes
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior network engineers and support staff
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
Minimum of 8 years of experience in network administration and support, with a focus on L2 and L3 support
Strong knowledge of networking protocols and technologies, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, BGP, OSPF, and MPLS
Experience with network security technologies such as VPNs, firewalls, IDS/IPS, and NAC
Proficiency in configuring and managing network devices from vendors such as Cisco, Juniper, PaloAlto & Fortinet
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex network issues
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
At least one of relevant certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, JNCIP
Paloatlo Professional Network Security Professional is a must
Nice to have
Expert knowledge and hands on experience in security networking (Cisco ASA, Paloalto, Fortinet)
Experience in Legacy and SDWAN
Experience in cloud networking and hybrid cloud environments
Experience with network monitoring and management tools such as DX NetOPS, Nagios, NGOSS .. etc
Experience with network automation tools and scripting languages such as Python or Ansible is a great plus
