Job Description:

We are looking for an Expert Data Engineer Consultant who will bridge the gap between technical BI capabilities and Сlient’s business needs in pre-sales, ensuring that proposed solutions are technically sound, scalable, and aligned with the Client’s strategic goals. The Expert Data Engineer Consultant acts as a technical authority and trusted advisor for leadership, Clients, and Engineering Teams, sets quality standards, leads architectural governance, and supports pre-sales and strategic initiatives.

Job Responsibility:

  • Architect, design, and oversee implementation of enterprise-scale data platforms, pipelines, and storage solutions
  • Design solutions ensuring long-term scalability, maintainability, and cost efficiency
  • Recommend best practices for testing, observability, monitoring, and operational excellence
  • Evaluate business-critical initiatives, perform deep technical and risk analysis, and recommend strategic trade-offs
  • Define reference architectures, design patterns, and technology standards for the solution
  • Evaluate and introduce new technologies, platforms, and frameworks based on long-term value and risk
  • Ensure enterprise-wide compliance with security, privacy, and regulatory requirements
  • Act as a technical expert in pre-sales activities, client workshops, and executive-level technical discussions
  • Communicate complex technical and architectural concepts to Clients and non-technical stakeholders

Requirements:

  • Deep expertise in large-scale data platform architecture and distributed systems
  • Advanced experience with multi-cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP) and hybrid data architectures
  • Proven ability to design metadata-driven, highly automated, and cost-optimized data platforms
  • Expert-level proficiency in Python
  • Extensive experience with real-time streaming, event-driven architectures, and advanced ingestion patterns
  • Experience in leading BI governance, establishing semantic modeling standards
  • Proven track record of evaluating, adopting, and standardizing new technologies at scale
  • Knowledge of architectural design methodologies and visualization standards
  • Knowledge of security principles, risk management, and compliance standards
