On the Waymo Marketing team, you will help to connect people with the magic and impact of Waymo's autonomous driving technology. Our team has the unique opportunity to not only grow Waymo's brand from the ground up, but to also build societal acceptance for autonomous driving technology for the first time in history. We build thoughtful marketing strategy, positioning, messaging and creative assets to deliver messages that matter to our audience, communicated through anything from video content, to social media interactions, to immersive physical experiences. We also shape Waymo's go-to-market initiatives, helping to transform Waymo into a thriving business with a growing user base.
Job Responsibility:
Lead end-to-end lifecycle of large-scale experiential initiatives and programs, translating Waymo’s brand mission into immersive consumer experiences that build public trust in autonomous technology
Manage program budgets with attention to detail, optimizing resource allocation and vendor negotiations to deliver premium activations with high cost-efficiency
Drive collaboration between Product, Marketing, and Operations teams, providing direction to internal staff and external partners to ensure seamless execution of event logistics and management
Manage a diverse network of creative support including internal and external agencies and vendors to deliver world-class experiences for Waymo
Adhere to KPI frameworks and measurement strategies to evaluate event/campaign impact, delivering actionable insights and ROI reports to the Experiential Lead, Head of Marketing and CMO audiences
Requirements:
7+ years experience leading high-impact experiential marketing or brand activations, ideally within a high growth tech company
A Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of advanced education and professional experience in Marketing, Communications, or a related discipline
A proven track record of architecting end-to-end brand activations, demonstrating the ability to translate complex organizational missions into immersive consumer narratives
Exceptional project management capabilities, with experience leading by influencing across cross-functional stakeholders, manage agencies, contractors and orchestrate collaboration across internal teams
Exceptional project management and organizational skills, with a focus on architecting robust workflows that ensure the seamless execution of initiatives
Nice to have:
Thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment, with prior experience in consumer technology, transportation, Experience in the autonomous vehicle, mobility, or a similarly highly regulated, pioneering technology sector
Familiarity with in-house creative development processes, with a strong creative judgment and ability to maintain consistent brand voice across all touchpoints
Experience with event ROI tracking, RFID lead retrieval, or post-event sentiment analysis tools
