Job Responsibility:

  • Design, Develop and maintain robust automated test frameworks and test suites
  • Lead automation strategy planning and implementation across multiple projects
  • Create and execute automated test scripts for web, mobile, and API testing
  • Implement CI/CD pipeline integration for automated testing
  • Perform performance, load, and security testing automation
  • Develop data-driven and keyword-driven test frameworks
  • Mentor junior team members on automation best practices and tools
  • Develop software verification plans, test procedures, and test environments
  • Collaborate with development teams to establish testing standards
  • Review and analyze test results, identifying defects and areas for improvement
  • Participate in code reviews and provide testing expertise during development cycles
  • Create comprehensive test documentation and reports.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement
  • 8+ years of experience in software testing with 3+ years in test automation
  • Strong written and oral interpersonal skills for creating and improving technical documents, and to effectively engage globally distributed engineering teams.

Nice to have:

  • Proficiency in programming languages (Java, Python, C#, JavaScript)
  • Excellent working knowledge of the entire software development lifecycle
  • Familiar with both Waterfall and Agile Methodologies
  • Familiar with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitLab CI)
  • Proven track record of leading automation projects
  • Experience with automation tools (Selenium, Cypress, TestNG, JUnit, Playwright)
  • Knowledge of API testing tools (Postman, REST Assured, SoapUI)
  • Experience with version control systems (Git, SVN)
  • Understanding of database testing and SQL queries
  • Excellent communication skills. Verbal communication should be clear, as well as written skills using US English
  • The candidate can work on a fast-moving development team, be candid about the status of their work with the development team.
