Job Description:

We are seeking an Experienced Technical Writer with strong AI use competence to join our team and support a partner in the telecommunications domain. The role is split between two key focus areas: the candidate will spend part of their time creating and maintaining professional technical documentation, while the remaining time will be dedicated to exploring process efficiency opportunities using current AI tools. This includes identifying relevant use cases where AI can streamline documentation workflows and knowledge work, and presenting these ideas for further development and potential automation.

Job Responsibility:

  • Develop and maintain product documentation, including user guides, manuals, and release notes
  • Publish internal and external customer product information libraries
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts, engineers, and product managers to understand intricate technical concepts and translate them into clear, accessible documentation
  • Work closely with product development teams to stay ahead of product updates and changes, proactively updating documentation accordingly
  • Implement and enforce documentation standards, ensuring consistency and quality
  • Mentor and guide junior technical writers, fostering a culture of learning and development within the documentation team
  • Analyze current documentation workflows and identify improvement opportunities using AI
  • Interview stakeholders to understand content inputs, formats, and contribution models
  • Define and document AI-supported use cases to increase efficiency and quality
  • Present improvement proposals and support workflow updates for approved initiatives

Requirements:

  • B.Sc./M.Sc. degree in a relevant field (e.g. English Studies, Information Technology, Computer Science)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • At least 3 years of proven experience as a Technical Writer in a technology-driven environment
  • Strong understanding of technical concepts and the ability to communicate them effectively
  • Proficiency in using documentation tools and platforms (e.g. Dita, Confluence, Jira)
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to producing high-quality documentation
  • Ability to work collaboratively in agile environment
  • Good multitasking ability and independent problem-solving skills
  • Strong research and analytical skills
  • Hold EU citizenship and reside in Hungary, or are willing to relocate to Hungary within a short period of time
