We are seeking up to 10 Support Workers. The positions offered are permanent placements within the Otago Region. As Community Care Trust Aotearoa operates a 24/7 service to our community, our support workers are required to work on a rotating roster, which may include nights (sleep-over or wake-over shifts) and weekend shifts, generally with two consecutive rostered days off per week. We work alongside people to ensure they live the life they want and achieve their dreams and aspirations as valued and contributing people within their community. Our work is varied, as we partner with a range of people including people with an intellectual disability, autism spectrum disorder, youth, dual diagnosis, and people with a disability that have committed a criminal offence.

Working on a rotating roster, which may include nights (sleep-over or wake-over shifts) and weekend shifts
Requirements:
A level 4 New Zealand Health & Wellbeing certificate (or equivalencies that have an IQA assessment from NZQA OR are accepted international equivalents)
A minimum 3 year’s relevant work experience as a support worker
Hold a current First Aid Certificate (or be willing to complete one at our cost)
Hold a FULL current NZ Driver License (or have the ability to obtain one)
