3Shape is looking for an experienced Software Developer to join our Reconstruction Software Area. Job Responsibility

  • Design, develop, and optimize high-performance C++ and/or C# components for 3D image reconstruction and processing
  • Refactor and modernize code to assure maintainability and performance
  • Define and evolve subsystem architecture together with architects and senior engineers
  • Raise engineering excellence: code quality, performance, automated tests, telemetry/observability, and clear technical documentation

Requirements

  • Solid programming skills in C# and/or C++ with a strong grasp of software design principles, maintainability, and code quality
  • Demonstrated, hands-on experience owning and evolving software architecture (e.g., defining module boundaries/APIs, refactoring toward clearer designs, and guiding others through review and alignment)
  • Analytical mindset with attention to performance, scalability, and maintainability
  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience)
  • Someone that eats large mass of code for breakfast
