Job Description

We are seeking to recruit enthusiastic, motivated, and experienced Social Workers to join Warrington Borough Council’s Specialist Teams Service with vacancies in the Preparation for Adulthood Team (x2 G7/G8). As a social worker you will play a fundamental role in this mission and will support some of the most vulnerable young people in our town. You will support clients using a range of legislative frameworks, including the Care Act 2014, Mental Capacity Act 2005, and the Mental Health Act 1983 to co-produce person-centered assessments and creative support plans to achieve holistic outcome for our clients. You’ll also lead safeguarding responses to protect adults at risk of abuse and neglect. We are looking for people with a can-do attitude and strong social work values.   • Recognised Social Work qualification

  • To be able to work 37 Hours per week
