The Boeing Company is looking for an Experienced Quality Engineer to join our team in Oklahoma City, OK. The Quality Engineer for this position will be supporting the Boeing Test & Evaluation (BT&E) department at the Oklahoma facility. Their primary responsibility will be ensuring compliance of lab testing processes and procedures. The role requires conducting thorough evaluations to assess compliance with industry standards and internal quality requirements. Additionally, the Quality Engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to lead root cause corrective action investigations, identify and implement improvements, while maintaining documentation and providing clear communication.
Job Responsibility
Researches contractual and Boeing Quality Management System requirements for applicability to specific proposals and program processes and documentation
Develops sections of quality metrics, design and production certification plans to ensure compliance with contractual, Company and regulatory requirements
Analyzes capability assessments to support supplier selection activities
Participates in various reviews to ensure quality attributes are incorporated into product designs
Performs data analysis to ensure manufacturing and test readiness
Provides material review dispositions for non-conformances
Analyzes non-conformance trends to evaluate effectiveness of corrective actions
Compiles performance reports and other statistical data to ensure specified processes capability levels are achieved
Works under general supervision
Requirements
Ability to obtain a U.S. Secret Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship
Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement
3+ years of experience working in Quality, Supplier Quality or Supplier Management
3+ years of experience with Quality Engineering or Test Engineering
3+ years of experience in root cause analysis and corrective action
Nice to have
An active U.S. Security Clearance in the past 24 months
3+ years of experience in Quality Management System (QMS)
3+ years of experience in statistical data analysis with statistical software
3+ years of experience using and following detailed work instructions, reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, or specifications
3+ years of experience working with AS9100 and/or similar QMS standard
3+ years of experience applying audit standards, procedures, and techniques
3+ years of experience with process specification development
