Experience within a precast manufacturing facility essential
Experienced with the technical ability to set up precast units and work to processes
Ability to read manufacture drawings
Able to work on own initiative or as part of a team.

Job Responsibility

Reporting to the Operative Supervisor
Working to drawings handed out and setting up precast units with accordance to as shown and within tolerances
Achieving daily targets and working to tight deadlines
Ensuring all work is up to a high standard and meets process requirements
Adapting and recycling knowledge to work efficiently
Have the ability to learn new processes.
Safe and accurate production of lattice planks, wall panels, and balcony units within a precast manufacturing facility
Preparing and setting out moulds, installing shutters and formwork components
Positioning lattice girders, reinforcement steel, cast in fixings, conduits, sockets, lifting equipment, and other inserts according to specification
Applying release agents, checking dimensions and tolerances, carrying out visual inspections

Requirements

Previous experience in a yard, loading, construction, or precast environment
Experience operating telehandlers, shunters, or similar plant equipment is a MSUT
Good understanding of health and safety, particularly around lifting operations
Physically fit and able to work outdoors in all weather conditions
Reliable, punctual, and able to work well as part of a team
Willingness to learn new skills and take instruction from supervisors

Job Responsibility

Load and unload precast concrete units safely, including slinging, securing, and preparing loads for transport
Operate shunter vehicles and telehandlers to move trailers, precast units, and materials around the yard
Assist with the organisation of the yard to ensure smooth daily operations
Maintain safe walkways, clear access routes, and tidy working areas at all times
Follow all health and safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others
Work closely with colleagues, drivers, and supervisors to meet production and delivery schedules
Carry out general yard duties as required to support the wider operation
