Job Description:

We are currently seeking an experienced Practice Nurse to join a supportive primary care team on a locum basis for a 3 month placement starting ASAP. You will work closely with a Lead Nurse Prescriber and experienced Healthcare Assistants, supporting the delivery of high quality patient care across a range of clinical services.

  • Long term condition reviews
  • Annual health reviews
  • Cervical smears
  • Child vaccinations and immunisations
  • Contraception advice and support
  • Accurate clinical documentation using System One

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working within primary care or GP surgeries
  • Confident managing chronic disease reviews independently
  • Experience using System One
  • Strong communication and patient care skills
  • Current NMC registration
