Job Description:

As an Experienced Pharmacy Dispenser, you will be friendly and organised with a passion for providing excellent customer and support the pharmacist with pharmacy services such as blood pressures and many more. Building relationships with your customers is key and you’ll play an important part in meeting their unique healthcare needs.

Job Responsibility:

  • ensuring the smooth running of the dispensary
  • dispensing medication effectively and safely
  • managing stock levels
  • providing healthcare advice and services at the counter
  • assisting with sales and general store duties including product displays and cash transactions
  • acting as the first point of contact for customers
  • managing high volume dispensing transactions for local care homes
  • dealing with operational queries from GP surgeries

  • Provide guidance to less experienced colleagues when appropriate (experienced)
  • Work confidently with NHS and pharmacy dispensing systems (if previously trained, experienced)
