Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced in-house Audio Designer to join our award-winning development team on an ambitious AAA remaster project of three titles. This role involves upgrading, retrofitting, and redesigning assets to meet modern standards. The project will ship on a wide range of platforms and formats - stereo, 5.1, 7.1, 7.1.4, Dolby Atmos, and 3D Audio.

Job Responsibility:

  • Produce audio content of the highest quality in a timely manner
  • Upgrade existing content to meet modern standards
  • Tactically reuse/retrofit assets from previous games
  • Implement game-ready audio into Wwise
  • Implement simple audio hooks into the proprietary engine (animation timelines, VFX assets, emitters in the world)
  • Specialise in one pillar of the game's audio: combat (weapons, explosions, enemies), narrative (cinematics and events), environment (ambience, objects, interactions)

Requirements:

  • Three years of experience (including at least one shipped title on PC or console)
  • Experience creating sounds on a AAA project
  • Excellent sound design skills and creative ability
  • Proficiency with Wwise
  • Proficiency with Reaper
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to hit deadlines
  • A showreel demonstrating your sound design

Nice to have:

  • Experience working with ambisonics
  • Experience creating content in surround sound or Dolby Atmos
