The Boeing Company is looking for an Experienced Metrology Test & Evaluation Engineer to join our team in St. Louis, MO. As a Metrology engineer you will have an important and exciting role in the company that could include engaging with the factory and other engineers, working with large-volume advanced manufacturing machines, engaging with outside vendors of test equipment, designing and building test fixtures, programming software, and developing procedures to test new equipment. You will tackle new and challenging problems every day. Metrology is the science of measurement and includes all theoretical and practical aspects of measurement. Metrology engineering covers the basic understanding of how measurement accuracy and precision impacts our ability to make repeatable and reproducible measurements throughout Boeing, basic understanding of the importance of measurement traceability and the role calibration plays in establishing traceability, and the quality systems that support these processes.
