Job Responsibility:

  • Deliver a wide range of care services, including medication administration, wound care, and health monitoring
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and family members to ensure quality care
  • Provide compassionate support to clients in-home care and long-term care settings

Requirements:

  • LPN Registry with NSCN: Must be active on the Nova Scotia College of Nursing (NSCN) Registry without any conditions
  • Experience: minimum 5 years preferred
  • Skills & Attitude: Strong communication skills, a positive outlook, and the ability to work independently
  • Flexibility & Reliability: Committed to providing compassionate, dependable care
  • Paediatric experience
  • Experience with an oxygen machine
  • Driver’s license and car
  • Eligibility: Must be legally authorized to work in Canada
  • Current CPR certification
  • Recent Criminal Record Check & Vulnerable Sector Check

Nice to have:

Experience with IWK considered an asset
