We are looking for a reliable and experienced Farm Hand to join our large-scale flower farm in the picturesque Northern Rivers region of Lynwood, NSW. As a key member of our team, you will contribute to the success of our farm operations. Job Responsibility:

  • General Farm Duties: Perform a wide range of farm tasks, including planting, harvesting, irrigation, and general maintenance
  • Driving Responsibilities: Hold a valid driver's license and be responsible for driving farm vehicles
  • Chemical Application: Utilize your chemical certificate to safely and effectively apply pesticides, herbicides, and fertilizers
  • Chainsaw Skills (Nice to Have): Use them for tasks such as felling trees, clearing debris, or maintaining the farm's landscape
  • Equipment Maintenance: Assist in the maintenance and repair of farm equipment
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with the Farm Director and other team members
  • Compliance: Adhere to all safety, environmental, and regulatory guidelines
  • Reliability: Demonstrate punctuality and reliability

Requirements:

  • Valid driver's license
  • Chemical certificate for safe and responsible chemical application
  • Previous experience in farm work or a related field
  • Strong work ethic and reliability
  • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
  • Physical fitness and the ability to lift and carry heavy objects
