Boeing seeking a highly experienced Azure Senior DevOps Engineer to support critical systems in the Azure Cloud Environment (Gav. & Public). The ideal candidate will lead, design and implement secure, scalable, and compliant CI/CD pipelines. This candidate will also be responsible for infrastructure provisioning, automation, and provide operational best practices for our environments. Job Responsibility:
Lead, Design and Implement end-to-end CI/CD pipelines for cloud-native and hybrid applications using Azure DevOps, Gitlab
Architect, Provision, and Operate Azure Government Cloud infrastructure (IaaS, PaaS, networking, storage) with strong focus on security, scalability, and cost optimization
Implement infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) standards and manage deployments using ARM templates, Bicep, Terraform, or similar frameworks
Design and enforce secure cloud landing zones, subscription and resource organization, management groups, RBAC, policy, and blueprints for multi-subscription environments
Lead automation efforts for environment provisioning, configuration management, secrets management, and lifecycle operations
Implement robust observability: logging, monitoring, tracing, and alerting using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Application Insights, Prometheus/Grafana, or similar
Architect and operationalize container platforms (ARO/Container AppService) and serverless solutions, including secure networking integration, ingress, and service mesh as required
Drive DevSecOps Practices: integrate static/dynamic security scans, IaC scanning, dependency scanning, and vulnerability remediation into pipelines
Define and validate backup/recovery, business continuity, and disaster recovery strategies for critical systems
Perform performance tuning, capacity planning, and cost governance for cloud workloads
Provide incident response leadership and post-incident reviews for platform and deployment issues
Mentor and provide technical leadership to Level 1/2 engineers
develop runbooks, operational playbooks, and knowledge transfer materials
Collaborate with compliance, security, and network teams to ensure solutions meet ITAR/FedRAMP/GSA/AICPA or other applicable regulatory requirements
Drive continuous improvement: Evaluate new Azure Gov features, third-party tools, and best practices to enhance the platform
Requirements:
A Bachelor’s degree or higher is required as a BASIC QUALIFICATION
12 years of experience focused on cloud engineering / DevOps roles, significant hands-on experience in Azure Government Cloud
