Our team at Atlantic Roofers Ltd. is currently hiring experienced Commercial Roofers (Torcher specifically) for our branch in the Winsloe/Charlottetown area, starting immediately. Job Responsibility

  • Instruct apprentices, supervise fellow tradespersons in construction activities
  • Install, replace or repair all types of roofing systems including, but not limited to, BUR, Modified Bitumen, EPDM and TPO systems
  • Safely operate a variety of handheld tools such as cordless drills, grinders, cut off saws, etc.
  • Understanding of safe work practices and job procedures
  • Participate in safety toolbox meetings

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years torching
  • Minimum of 4+ years working in Commercial/Industrial Roofing
  • Ability to work at heights
  • Ability to work well in outdoor elements in a team environment
  • Willingness to learn new tasks
  • Ability to adapt to change
  • Attention to detail, strong communication skills
  • Some weekend flexibility may be required at times
  • Knowledge in the safe use of fall protection equipment and PPE
