Job Description:

Randstad is seeking permanent Experienced Aircraft Production Workers for our client in the aircraft manufacturing industry in Greater Victoria, BC. This is a great opportunity to join a dynamic team focused on producing high-quality aircraft components.

Job Responsibility:

Study and interpret engineering blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to determine assembly requirements
use hand tools, power tools, and machinery to cut, shape, and form sheet metal components according to specifications
assemble sheet metal parts and components to create sub-assemblies or finished products, ensuring adherence to strict quality standards
conduct inspections of assembled components to verify accuracy, quality, and compliance with aerospace industry standards
use precision measuring instruments to check dimensions and tolerances, adjusting as needed
handle and store sheet metal materials safely, maintaining proper organization and inventory control
collaborate with manufacturing team members, including engineers and machinists, to ensure seamless integration of sheet metal components into larger assemblies
follow all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe and efficient work environment

Requirements:

AME graduate or experience in aerospace assembly is required
a high school diploma or equivalent is required
must be able to pass a criminal background check
proficient in operating a range of hand tools, power tools, and sheet metal fabrication machinery
capable of interpreting and understanding drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications
strong verbal and written communication skills in English
excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team
exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work
dedicated to maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to all safety guidelines
must possess and maintain the legal right to work in Canada

What we offer:

$29/hour to $34/hour (Dependent on experience)
