Experienced Accountant

• Manage end-to-end month-end and year-end close processes
• Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, and prepayments accurately and on time
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts and ensure all ledgers are maintained to a high standard
• Produce management accounts and detailed financial reports for senior review
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis activities
• Ensure compliance with internal accounting policies and relevant financial regulations
• Liaise with auditors, preparing and providing all necessary documentation
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency

• Fully qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ACA, or equivalent)
• Minimum of 2 years' recent accounting experience (more is highly desirable)
• Proven ability to work independently and deliver results with minimal oversight
• Strong technical accounting skills with in-depth month-end close experience
• Advanced Excel skills
• experience with systems such as Sage, Xero, or Oracle is advantageous
• Excellent attention to detail, organisational skills, and ability to prioritise under pressure
• A proactive, adaptable, and solutions-focused approach
• Immediate availability or a very short notice period
