Job Description:

Expeditor position for in-room dining at The Miami Beach EDITION hotel, responsible for taking room service orders, communicating with kitchen staff, ensuring quality service delivery, and maintaining professional standards in a luxury hotel environment.

Job Responsibility:

  • Take room service orders over the phone
  • Answer questions on menu selections and check with kitchen staff
  • Answer guest questions regarding wines
  • Place and log call back for room service orders
  • Notify guests and management of delays in service delivery
  • Communicate meal requirements, allergies, dietary needs, and special requests to kitchen
  • Maintain cleanliness of work areas
  • Record transactions in MICROS system
  • Complete closing reports including MICROS reports
  • Process all payment methods
  • Follow company safety and security policies
  • Report accidents and unsafe conditions
  • Complete safety training
  • Ensure professional uniform and appearance
  • Welcome and acknowledge all guests
  • Assist individuals with disabilities
  • Develop positive working relationships
  • Support team goals
  • Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
  • Move objects up to 10 pounds
