Job Description:

This role will provide expatriate tax compliance and advisory services for a wide range of clients with an international presence/focus. The primary responsibility will be to deal with all matters relating to the management of a portfolio of existing clients and assist with the development of targets in order to ensure the continued growth of the business.

Job Responsibility:

  • Deal with all matters relating to the management of a portfolio of existing clients
  • Assist with the development of targets to ensure the continued growth of the business
  • Provide assistance to senior members of staff in both client work and in the management of the group
  • Pro-actively manage their own workload, communicating with directors/partners on a regular basis
  • Consider and highlight further opportunities to develop new work

Requirements:

  • Significant understanding of and previous experience within expatriate tax compliance, dealing with the annual tax return process
  • Knowledge of recent key updates and areas of focus in the area of Expatriate Tax (e.g., the Statutory Residence Test, Short Term Business Visitors, Non-Resident Directors)
  • Expatriate Tax advisory experience
  • Ability to manage a large and varied client portfolio
  • Demonstrable staff management experience
  • Ability actively seeks opportunities for selling new services to existing clients
  • Experience of dealing with client senior management and key stakeholders
  • Educated to degree level, and/or CTA and/or ACA qualified or qualified by experience

Nice to have:

UK employment tax experience/knowledge would also be helpful, but not essential
