This role will provide expatriate tax compliance and advisory services for a wide range of clients with an international presence/focus. The primary responsibility will be to deal with all matters relating to the management of a portfolio of existing clients and assist with the development of targets in order to ensure the continued growth of the business.
Job Responsibility:
Provide expatriate tax compliance and advisory services for a wide range of clients with an international presence/focus
Deal with all matters relating to the management of a portfolio of existing clients
Assist with the development of targets to ensure the continued growth of the business
Provide assistance to senior members of staff in both client work and in the management of the group
Pro-actively manage their own workload, communicating with directors/partners on a regular basis
Consider and highlight further opportunities to develop new work
Requirements:
Significant understanding of and previous experience within expatriate tax compliance, dealing with the annual tax return process
Knowledge of recent key updates and areas of focus in the area of Expatriate Tax (e.g., the Statutory Residence Test, Short Term Business Visitors, Non-Resident Directors)
Expatriate Tax advisory experience
Ability to manage a large and varied client portfolio
Demonstrable staff management experience
Ability actively seeks opportunities for selling new services to existing clients
Experience of dealing with client senior management and key stakeholders
Educated to degree level, and/or CTA and/or ACA qualified or qualified by experience
Nice to have:
UK employment tax experience/knowledge would also be helpful, but not essential
