We’re looking for an Expansion Marketing Manager to own growth for our expansion markets, namely Italy and the Netherlands. This is a very hands-on, entrepreneurial growth role that requires building Xolo's growth motions in new markets from scratch. You’ll take a full-funnel view of performance and product adoption, and drive a structured growth and experimentation process. You’ll work closely with Product, Performance Marketing, Customer Success, and Operations to improve the offering, sharpen our ICP, and help craft our go-to-market strategy.
Job Responsibility:
Own our expansion growth plan across the funnel: awareness, acquisition, activation, conversion, retention, referral
Identify bottlenecks and opportunities across channels and journeys (web, onboarding, product experience)
Lead a continuous experimentation cycle from conducting research to formulating hypotheses to prioritising the experimentation backlog
Partner with the product and growth teams to run tests across messaging, landing pages and onboarding flows
Own ICP and segmentation: who we serve best, why they choose us, and what drives conversion and retention
Play an important role in crafting and executing Xolo’s go-to-market strategy: positioning, packaging, launch planning and adoption strategy
Explore partnerships and co-marketing opportunities when they support the growth plan
Requirements:
3+ years of experience in growth marketing in SaaS, fintech, or a similar product-led environment
Hands-on experience with freelance/self-employment ecosystem (pain points, mental models, common objections)
A strong growth toolkit: research, hypothesis-driven thinking, prioritization frameworks, experimentation, and learning loops
Comfort owning metrics and making decisions based on data (conversion, activation, CAC/payback, retention, cohort behavior)
Experience collaborating cross-functionally with Product, Growth, and Customer Success teams to improve the funnel, not just run one-off campaigns
Fluency in English
Nice to have:
Experience working with the Italian and Dutch markets
What we offer:
Autonomy to decide when and where you work
Flexibility to shape your workday
Freedom to take risks, explore new ideas, and challenge the status quo
