MaintainX is seeking an Expansion Account Executive to join the dynamic sales team. As an Expansion AE - Emerging you'll play a crucial role in driving sales growth by effectively engaging and managing relationships with customers in the Emerging segment (300 employees or less). Your expertise in managing a large volume of high velocity deals will be instrumental in expanding client accounts. This is a key role within the organization, as MaintainX has seen (and will continue to see) triple-digit, year-over-year growth; thus, creating a need for world-class client care and management.

Job Responsibility:

  • Own a “book of business” from post-sale handoff onwards
  • Use sales experience to effectively engage and build relationships with a large segment of our emerging customers
  • Leverage experience in navigating high volumes of deals to identify and capitalize on expansion opportunities within existing accounts
  • Take a proactive approach in identifying customer needs and providing innovative solutions
  • Articulate key metrics and data to demonstrate the value and impact of our solutions
  • Manage a book of business and need to execute multiple tasks simultaneously such as client requests, demos, proposals, follow-ups, etc.
  • Become a master of using systems like Salesforce, Outreach, ZoomInfo, and others
  • Accurately manage sales pipeline and forecast monthly and quarterly expansion opportunities
  • Exhibit meticulous attention to detail and organizational skills, ensuring accurate and timely documentation of customer interactions, deals, and progress
  • Embrace the entrepreneurial, grind-it-out mentality of building something new

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a quota-carrying SaaS sales closing role (New Business AE or Expansion AE/AM)
  • Demonstrated success managing a large volume of prospects while driving product adoption
  • Strong analytical and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate data-driven insights to both internal and external stakeholders
  • Proven ability to conduct engaging product demonstrations
  • Adaptability and comfort in a fast-paced, rapidly changing sales environment
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in all documentation and deal management
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and internal teams
  • A positive, passionate, and creative mindset, combined with high-character qualities that align with our company values
  • An open and hungry mind, always willing to improve through coaching and learn about our customers’ industries
  • Bachelor's degree or higher, ideally in a relevant field
