Job Description:

As Exhibition Manager you will strategically lead, manage, develop and implement the Exhibition direction to strengthen the IKEA Brand and establish Älmhult as a well-known design destination, creating high quality exhibition experiences that attract target audiences.

Job Responsibility:

Strategically lead, manage, develop and implement Exhibition direction
Lead and develop Exhibition team
Drive development and continuous improvement of Exhibition Direction for IKEA Museum and Museum of Furniture Studies
Secure collaboration with key stakeholders internally and externally
Ensure exhibition plans align with strategies and support visitation and conversion goals
Safeguard visual and brand integrity across all partners
Act as role model bringing IKEA culture and values to life

Requirements:

Deep experience in leading creative processes from idea to implementation
Proven success guiding senior teams in exhibition design toward high artistic results
Ability to lead through change and inspire enthusiasm, co-creation and growth
Experience building trustful relationships across all levels
Experience leading diverse groups
Broad network in creative field (museums, exhibitions, design and home furnishing)
Driven by improving and simplifying ways of working
Clear and inspiring communication skills
Fluent in English (spoken and written)
Strong passion for exhibition design/experience creation
Commitment to IKEA culture and values
For internal candidates: recent in-depth understanding of IKEA business across value chain (merit)
