Job Description

Truman State University seeks a strategic, collaborative, and innovative academic leader to serve as its next Executive Vice President for Academic Affairs and Provost (EVPAA). The University desires a leader who combines passion, energy, and a positive attitude, with a strong commitment to students and sustained excellence.

Job Responsibility

  • Serve as the chief academic officer
  • Provide leadership and forge strategic direction
  • Oversee and provide leadership to approximately 335 faculty and staff
  • Serve as an advisor to the President
  • Serve as an ambassador for the University’s academic program(s) outside the institution
