We’re looking for an exceptional Executive Support Officer to support our Chair, CEO and Executive Directors within the Chair & Chief Executive Office. This is a trusted, influential role for someone who enjoys juggling priorities, anticipating needs and ensuring senior leaders can operate at their very best.
Job Responsibility:
Managing complex diaries, inboxes and travel arrangements with confidence and discretion
Proactively planning ahead, ensuring deadlines, meetings and priorities are well‑managed
Preparing high‑quality briefings, reports and pre‑reading for Executive Leadership Team, Council and Committee meetings
Producing accurate agendas and taking clear, concise minutes for senior‑level meetings
Coordinating documents and materials, proofreading for quality and technical accuracy
Handling sensitive information with tact, judgement and professionalism
Building strong working relationships across the organisation and with external stakeholders
Supporting engagement activity and ad‑hoc projects as required
Acting with autonomy, making decisions in the absence of the Business Manager when needed
Requirements:
Proven experience supporting senior leaders in a complex or fast‑paced setting
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
Advanced diary, inbox and document management capabilities
Excellent minute‑taking skills and a forensic attention to detail
Strong judgement, discretion and the confidence to handle sensitive matters
Brilliant organisational and prioritisation skills
Confidence using Microsoft 365, Teams, Zoom and digital collaboration tools
A collaborative mindset and a proactive, "can‑do" approach
Experience working in a regulatory or public‑sector environment is desirable, but not essential.
