Job Description:

Responsible for the end-to-end management of Raw Materials (RM) and Packaging Materials (PM), including procurement planning, inventory control, vendor coordination, and ensuring uninterrupted supply to the production line at optimal costs.

Job Responsibility:

  • Analyze production plans to determine RM/PM requirements, create purchase requisitions, and maintain minimum/maximum stock levels
  • Follow up with vendors for timely delivery based on POs, expedite critical shortages, and negotiate vendor lead times
  • Ensure accurate physical verification (100% compliance) vs. records, implement FIFO/FEFO, and manage warehouse space
  • Coordinate with QC/QA for sampling, inspection, and timely release of incoming materials
  • Maintain accurate inventory records in ERP (SAP/Tally), manage GRN (Goods Received Note), and handle vendor bill verification
  • Minimize wastage, optimize inventory holding costs, and support cost-saving initiatives
