Job Description:

The Executive Steward is directly responsible of maintaining and controls a high level of guest service achieved by ensuring consistent and thoughtful service, demonstrated to the staff, sharing a passion for excellence and enthusiasm into everything they do.

Job Responsibility:

  • Oversee all stewarding operations, including forecasting, scheduling, training, and team development
  • Ensure cleanliness and organization of all back-of-the-house F&B areas, including dishwashing, silverware, cutlery, and glassware
  • Ensure proper use and preventative maintenance of stewarding equipment and machinery
  • Control labor and operating expenses through effective scheduling, budgeting, inventory, and cost control
  • Anticipate operational needs and ensure availability of materials, supplies, and equipment
  • Collaborate closely with Culinary, Food & Beverage leadership, and supervisors to ensure seamless operations
  • Foster a positive, respectful, and trust-based work environment, leading by example at all times
  • Participate in operational meetings and employee relations initiatives to support team engagement and performance

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of management experience in Stewarding operations within a luxury hotel or resort
  • Ability to adapt to working in a remote location
  • Excellent communication skills in English
  • Spanish is preferred
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and cost-control skills
