Job Description:

This role oversees the Post, Content and Studio production process, managing budgets, schedules, and project delivery across various media formats, including video, animation, broadcast, and digital content. The position ensures production standards while upholding creative and craft high stands. We look to this role to stay ahead of industry trends and evolving distribution platforms including AI. Collaborating with producers, creatives, and senior leadership, this individual defines project scopes, optimizes workflows, and develops strategic solutions to production challenges. This role could also be called upon to steer and mentor junior team members. They also lead vendor and talent sourcing, negotiate contracts, and manage RFPs, fostering strong external partnerships. As a motivational and communicative leader, they cultivate a positive team culture and contribute to the company’s strategic growth in a global market.

Job Responsibility:

  • Oversee the full life cycle of projects, including estimates, scheduling, maintaining timelines, delivery, and wrap-up
  • Lead and manage all media production, including short- and long-form content, animation, graphics, field and studio shoots, OLV, broadcast, and social/digital content
  • Champion the pursuit of excellence in craft and creativity
  • Partner with primary producers, project managers, creatives, and client teams to define project scopes, align on Statements of Work (SOWs), and ensure all deadlines and budgets are met
  • Manage and adjust production strategies as needed, proactively identifying issues and providing strategic solutions
  • Collaborate with the Managing Director on project needs, talent sourcing, opportunities, and sales strategies
  • Oversee all video production and post-production workstreams, ensuring alignment across teams and optimizing workflows
  • Build, nurture, and sustain strong relationships with your team, external production and creative partners, artists, vendors, and contract talent, while strategically leveraging strong negotiation skills
  • Craft and manage RFPs for external vendors and contractors, overseeing selection and ongoing relationships
  • Act as a highly communicative and motivational leader, fostering team growth while maintaining a positive and calm approach in high-pressure situations
  • Work collaboratively with senior leadership to shape a strategic vision for growth, driving expansion in a global market
