Job Description:

We’re seeking a senior people leader to join CSIRO as the Executive Manager, Organisational Development, Culture and Diversity, Inclusion & Belonging (DIB). Reporting to the Director of Organisational Development, you’ll provide strategic and operational leadership across our OD, culture, and DIB portfolios. You’ll lead a team of passionate specialists, delivering programs that support positive transformation, build organisational capability and culture, and embed equity and belonging across our diverse workforce.

Job Responsibility:

  • Leading a multidisciplinary team to deliver enterprise-wide programs that shape organisational culture, build capability, and foster inclusion and belonging
  • Designing and facilitating high-impact workshops, consultations, and engagement activities that drive alignment and co-design across CSIRO
  • Applying an organisational development lens to diagnose challenges, identifying systemic barriers, and framing strategic responses to support business transformation
  • Identifying and activating key levers to address complex organisational issues, ensuring programs deliver meaningful, measurable impact aligned to strategic priorities
  • Partnering with senior leaders to influence behaviours, uplift capability, and strengthen engagement at all levels of the organisation
  • Using data and insights to measure program impact and continuously improve outcomes
  • Collaborating across the People function to deliver a connected, future-focused people strategy

Requirements:

  • Proven experience leading enterprise-wide culture, OD, and DIB initiatives in large or complex organisations
  • Ability to influence senior leaders and embed long-term cultural and capability outcomes
  • Collaborative, values-led leadership style that empowers high-performing, multidisciplinary teams
  • Strong project and change leadership skills, with a focus on future workforce needs and innovation
  • Tertiary qualifications in HR, Business, Psychology or a related field, or equivalent experience
