Job Description:

The Executive Lounge Supervisor oversees daily lounge operations, ensures high standards of service, supervises and trains team members, and maintains compliance with health and safety regulations. The role involves responding to guest requests, collaborating with management, and ensuring a welcoming environment for guests.

Job Responsibility:

  • Oversee daily lounge operations including breakfast, afternoon tea, and evening cocktail service
  • Ensure lounge cleanliness, organization, and readiness throughout the day
  • Coordinate with Housekeeping, Kitchen, and Engineering to maintain high standards
  • Monitor guest traffic and manage seating to ensure comfort and privacy
  • Respond to any questions from guests and follow up with guests to ensure their requests have been met to their satisfaction
  • Supply guests with information regarding property amenities, services, room features, and local areas of interest and activities
  • Respond to guest requests for special arrangements or services by making arrangements or identifying appropriate providers
  • Contact appropriate individual or department as necessary to resolve guest requests
  • Collaborate with management to develop and carry-out ideas and procedures and set goals to continuously improve department performance
  • Assign and ensure work tasks are completed on time and that they meet appropriate quality standards
  • Supervise, train, and support Executive Lounge Hosts
  • Conduct daily briefings and ensure team members are informed of VIP arrivals, special requests, and updates
  • Lead by example in delivering Wonderful Hospitality, Always
  • Maintain accurate records of lounge usage, feedback, and incidents
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, hygiene, and liquor licensing regulations
  • Assist with inventory management and ordering supplies
  • Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards
  • identify, recommend, develop, and implement new ways to increase organizational efficiency, productivity, quality, safety, and/or cost-savings
  • Follow all company policies and procedures
  • ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional
  • maintain confidentiality of proprietary information
  • protect company assets
  • protect the privacy and security of guests and coworkers
  • Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 10 pounds without assistance
  • Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Managers

Requirements:

  • Experience in a similar role

  • Valid New South Wales Responsible Service of Alcohol Competency card
