Job Responsibility

  • Hiring and leading the housekeeping staff to ensure excellent quality of service
  • Providing clear direction in assigning and instructing housekeeping and laundry staff
  • Planning, organizing, and monitoring staff activities to ensure compliance with quality assurance standards
  • Continuous visual inspection of guest rooms and public space areas
  • Managing finances of housekeeping and laundry operations including budget and inventory controls
  • Analyzing data and compiling reports on expenditures, wages, labor, supplies etc. in relation to hotel financial forecasts and budget
  • Establishing and maintaining adequate supplies for efficient operation of the department
  • Distributing and delegating workload to guarantee maximum production and guest satisfaction
  • Monitoring house count and making staffing adjustments accordingly

Requirements

  • At least 2 years prior experience in a similar position at a hotel
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Great attention to detail
  • Must be Fluent in Spanish
