Job Description:

Responsible for the daily shift operations of Housekeeping, Recreation/Health Club and, if applicable, Laundry. Directs and works with employees to ensure property guestrooms, public space and employee areas are clean and well maintained.

Job Responsibility:

Managing daily housekeeping operations
supervising compliance with policies, standards, and procedures
conducting inspections of guestrooms and public spaces
managing inventories of supplies and uniforms
controlling departmental costs and expenses
ensuring exceptional customer service
participating in employee training and performance appraisals
hiring and onboarding staff

Requirements:

High school diploma or GED
2 years experience in the housekeeping or related professional area
2-year degree from an accredited university in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related major
no work experience required

Nice to have:

Ability to ensure guest and employee satisfaction
budgeting and financial management abilities
skills to provide excellent customer service
experience in staff training and progressive discipline procedures
