The Executive Housekeeper manages all housekeeping operations to ensure guest rooms, public areas, and employee spaces are impeccably clean, well maintained, and aligned with EDITION brand standards. This role leads the housekeeping team, oversees daily shift operations, drives guest and employee satisfaction, and supports the department’s financial performance. Regular inspections, follow‑up, and continuous improvement are key components of the role.
Job Responsibility:
Manage all housekeeping operations to ensure guest rooms, public areas, and employee spaces are impeccably clean and well maintained
Lead the housekeeping team and oversee daily shift operations
Drive guest and employee satisfaction
Support the department’s financial performance
Conduct regular inspections and follow‑up
Ensure compliance with all housekeeping policies, procedures, and brand standards
Review staffing levels to meet service, operational, and financial goals
Prepare daily room assignments and ensure adequate supply levels
Lead an effective inspection program for guestrooms and public areas
Ensure employees have proper tools, equipment, and uniforms
Communicate areas requiring attention and follow up on corrective actions
Participate in departmental meetings
Train new room attendants and provide ongoing coaching
Build open, collaborative relationships with employees
Schedule staff based on business needs and monitor attendance
Ensure employees understand expectations and performance standards
Administer policies fairly and consistently, including disciplinary procedures
Observe service behaviours and provide feedback
Support employee recognition and engagement initiatives
Participate in interviewing and hiring team members
Set a positive example for guest interaction and service delivery
Support action plans to improve guest satisfaction
Empower employees to resolve guest concerns
Respond to guest issues promptly and professionally
Reinforce guest satisfaction as a departmental priority
Requirements:
High school diploma or GED
3 years experience in housekeeping or a related area
OR 2‑year degree in Hospitality, Hotel & Restaurant Management, Business Administration, or related field
