Job Description:

An opportunity to be part of an organisation focused on changing lives through cultural tourism. Live and work onsite at Yulara, NT, a 20 min drive from Uluru. This role involves ensuring the housekeeping department meets company standards across two hotels, including a 5-star luxury property and a 3-star budget property.

Job Responsibility:

  • Ensure the housekeeping department provides clean, well-maintained accommodation and public areas that meet company standards
  • Provide professional, timely and quality services in line with budgetary requirements
  • Lead a large-scale housekeeping and public area team of 47 FTE across two properties
  • Train, mentor and support NITA Trainees while on the job to complete their certificate
  • Oversee regular maintenance projects (e.g., regular spring cleaning, mattress rotation, carpet shampooing and grout cleaning)
  • Maintain daily cost control ensuring costs are minimised and profit generation is maximised by achieving good productivity
